July 25, 2013

Our meeting today was short and sweet. We had about 12 members come and go. We missed a couple of our regulars.

Sharon helped Susy show her quilt. She made this and was adding the binding on to have it ready for the SWW Fair. Turned out great.

Kathy H brought in her block she did for Cil.
Two more blocks were turned in for Lynn as well.

Connie made this for Lynn.

Susy made this one.

This is one of Barb's blocks. Think it was turned in by Connie as well.

Kathy H showed off her quilt she was finishing up. It turned out great. The blocks were from a group. (need to check with her for more information on this quilt.)

NEXT MEETING IS AUG 8TH, LYNN WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND - SO PHOTOS AND MESSAGES NEED TO BE SENT TO LYNN TO POST HERE.

July 10, 2013 Meeting

We had a good turnout, even when we had to move the day to Wednesday this week.

Our meeting was in the quilt shop this time. We had 6 attendees and did our usually laughing over comments made.

Barb showed the quilt she was binding at the meeting.

Several members liked the quilt and asked for the pattern. Information regarding the pattern is in Barb B's page. (Sorry for the exposure on my camera)

Kathy showed off her Hearts and Flowers quilt blocks. She finished the last block at the meeting (didn't get a photo). She is now going through them to add the embroidery.

This is a quilt that we have been watching Kathy work on for some time. We have all offered to take them off her hands, but she said, "No." Go figure - lol

Blocks came in for two of our block of the month quilts.

Sharon made this block for Cil. Talk about a pretty block! We all have been trying to figure out what we would do with the pattern, and now that we see one done, we have a good idea what to do now.

Barb turned in her block she made for Lynn's Japanese dolls. Since Lynn lived in Japan for 3 years, she thinks of these dolls as Hakata Dolls. She lived at Hakata Japan when she was in 4-6 grade.

Our next meeting is schedule for July 25, 2013. Look forward to seeing you!
