We had a great turn out for our meeting. We had about 12 members total show up. Some came early and left, and some came later and stayed.
We had our "show and tell" at 11 am. We were too excited about show and tell to wait till 11:30. Lynn told everyone about how TAS is going. She explained to the group there was a possibility that those who get the newsletter in the mail may pay an extra $5 because of shipping costs. Not everyone was happy about that. We even talked about being a group without TAS. We do like the newsletter and will stay with TAS for now.
Kathy W showed her Christmas Tree Skirt for her daughter.
Kathy H. showed her wall hanging.
A lot of the blocks were coming back in. It was decided that Teri's blocks would be the last blocks we would be doing for awhile. We had been overwhelmed with blocks lately and time to work on our own projects has been lacking. So, we will take a break. We talked about a challenge for all of us. In Jan, we would work on a "UFO" project for 6 months, and then have our name in a drawing to see if we win something. We haven't decided on what yet, and this is still under discussion.
