July 30, 2015

Today was a good day. We had a good turn out with 8 or 9 members showing up.

Teri was working on her block for the September block drawing.

Cil gone the others and was working on her Dresden Plate as well.

Joyce was also one of the ones working on the Sept blocks. These are coming along really nice! Three members were working on dark brown for background. Photos missing are from Kathy W and Cis. Both were working on their blocks as well.

Lynn was working on her QOV block. She's almost done.

Kathy showed her blocks that she's doing. This is part of the Craft Cubby of Australia. This is so cute!! She's doing an awesome job.

She also told us about Sharon Schamber's Secret Foundation it's great for applique. It's made for machine applique but Kathy used it for her blocks above and said it works great on points. Check them out!

We will be working the fair in August. Volunteers are needed to man the booth. Please let Lynn know when you can work.

July 16, 2015

We finally had another meeting after having to wait for this week to arrive. There were 8 of us that showed for the meeting. It was good to see Kathy W. after a long wait. Susy showed up for a few minutes and then had to leave.

When leaving we had the group poise for their pictures. This is Joyce (back to the camera), Kathy W, Deanna, and Cis. All having a great time.

Here is Joyce, Barb, and JoAnn. Not photoed is Lynn.

We didn't have show and tell, so there wasn't anything to show.

This is one of Lynn's Quilt of Valor blocks. She was working on this today. It's not finished. It's a Jeannie Austin pattern.

Our next meeting is in two weeks. Hope to see everyone there!
