Due to the editor (Lynn Wiltzius) not attending meeting in the past couple months, and no reports were given, no reports were made for the past 2 months.
Today we all met at Whalen Quilt Works. We talked about doing a donation quilt. We'd make a quilt that would be given to an organization to raffle off. No time limits.
So, we all brought patterns for a quilt that had 12 blocks. We'll buy the fabrics from the shop. We picked 3 patterns to use, with them being listed as 1, 2, 3. Contact to the pattern designer for permission before we will do them. The group picked the fabrics and the shop is going to order fabrics for us.
The group decided on the Red, White, and Blue colors, like what Cis is making with her quilt BOM.
The fabrics that were picked are darker than these. More in the direction of navy blue, darker reds.
Barb was busy hand quilting her quilt. She had part of the center done.
We had 9 members attending. A couple left early (including Lynn).
